Rocco has moved from Munich to Berlin. He hates the new life in a strange city, without a girl friend and friends. Purely by chance, he hears one day the programmes of a small pirate radio station and is immediately fascinated – by the cool programme and the crazy radio crew who, completely uncensored, broadcasts directly from a captured watchtower on the former death strip. Rocco wants, no, he must meet the crew, above all Ramona, that genial host. And when at last Rocco too has become part of the crew, the best time of his life begins, despite problems in his apparently perfect family
“Andreas Pietschmann, from the Hamburg Thalia Theatre, reads Katrin Bongard’s story so plausibly and with such a touch of reality as if he himself had just got stuck in puberty/adolescence.” (Source: dpa)

“The CD impresses through the emotions of a 16-year old. Clear words express continuously the perplexity, insecurity and fluctuation of emotions during puberty. Speaker Andreas Pietschmann transfers himself excellently into Rocco’s and his environment’s emotions. At times Rocco seems to appear a bit “too” sensitive. He is worried about too many things, and there is so much which moves him. But then so many things happen in his surroundings: his new friend seems to be somehow or other ill,  whilst his brother also behaves strangely. And he also has to get used to the “butterflies” which are just beginning to arise.” (Source:
